Two BHS Athletes sign Letters of Intent

Two of Bowie High Schools students will be heading to college next year on athletic scholarships.

Macy Roth singed her letter of intent and accepted a scholarship on January 15 to play softball for Vernon College. She is the youngest of three is proud to follow in the footsteps of her older brother, Heath Taylor, and sister, Jordan Roth. Both Heath and Jordan were signed by Vernon College for baseball and softball their senior years. Heath later played baseball at the University of Oklahoma.

Seth Garza signed his letter of intent and accepted a scholarship on February 3 to play football at Midwestern State University. Seth has earned numerous district and state awards for kicking and punting while playing for the Bowie Jackrabbits. Seth is the son of Eric and Rena Garza and Jennifer Garcia.

Bowie High School congratulates these two young athletes and wishes them the best as they prepare to stat their college athletic careers.
